The Great War Against Chaos
A cataclysmic conflict that began in 2302 when the armies of Asavar Kul, Champion of the Chaos Gods, marched forth from the dread Chaos Wastes and laid siege to Praag, the northernmost city of Kislev.
After the fall of Praag on Mondstille 2303, Asavar Kul marched south to the gates of the city of Kislev. There, Kul was defeated by an Imperial army lead by Magnus von Bildhofen, then a minor nobleman from the city of Nuln. Wielding Sigmar’s hammer Ghal Maraz, Magnus defeated Kul in single combat and routed the hordes of the Ruinous Powers.
